The Ed Shook Golf Tournament is held at North Ridge County Club, Raleigh NC every September and was the first fundraiser to benefit the Frankie Lemmon School. The tournament raised over $90,000 in 2008! North Ridge Country Club will host the 45th annual Ed Shook Golf Classic in September 2009. This tradition, started by Ed Shook and Ralph Lang Sr., has become the Triangle’s largest one-day tournament run entirely by volunteers. The money raised by this tournament directly support the Frankie Lemmon School. Tom Williams chairs this event and leads a very enthusiastic committee that puts tireless energy into this well run tournament.
